Black Nickel, also known as Cosmo Black, Smoked Chrome and Jet-Black are a very popular finishes found on guitars like Ibanez®.
We have attempted to apply finishes like this however, some of the chemicals used to make this finish durable and beautiful are banned by the United States Environmental Protection Agency. As a result, this finish tends to turn a greenish hue over time.
Because of these quality issues, we opted to not carry this finish in our domestically made products.
